The pain is right below my right rib, i dont really feel it unless i move the wrong way or bend over anything that moves my muscles into my belly, a good laugh can do it too. At one pioint it hurt to mov emy feet walking, or sitting in the car. please if anyone has any info they can share i would greatly appreciate it. my primary diagnosed with this musle thing and said come back in a month and we will see if we need to persue this and send you to an upper gi specialist. im so concerned, what if it is somethign serious? should we be waiting a month? has anyone else had this? thanks so much for your time!

Constant tingling of left arm & pressure on chest- heart problem?

Question by Vanilla Lace~: Constant tingling of left arm & pressure on chest- heart problem?
My left arm tingles whenever I exercise and occasionally when I eat. It is sometimes accompanied with pressure on the left side of my chest (over the heart area).

I had a series of what might have been heart palpitations 4 years ago whenever I would stay up late doing homework. I went to my doctor twice for that and they found nothing. A year lapsed and the tingling thing came. It has been getting worse and worse and has occurred more and more frequently these past few months.

I am only 18 years old and consider myself average/skinny. Heart problems do run in my family but never at a young age. I also think my stress might be a factor.

Does anyone know what is wrong with me? I am going to schedule an appointment with my dad’s cardiologist ASAP.

Thanks everyone

Sharp stabbing pain in left ribs area!?

Question by aqualey: Sharp stabbing pain in left ribs area!?
It hurts very badly! not quite sure what it is yet, felt this pain before but it went away and now it’s just hard to even do normal things without feeling the pain! what could it be?

Gas often gets trapped in one of the two corners of the large bowel. Both of the corners are right under the ribs, right and left. When this gas is trapped or expands, it rises, pushing against the nerves under the diaphragm. This can be really painful, and the pain can radiate into the chest or to the shoulder or back.

You might try sticking to low-gas-producing foods for a while (link below) and, when you feel the pain, try lying down on a bed or the floor and roll slowly from side to side, front and back. If it is trapped gas, this will help redistribute it more evenly throughout the colon.

Have a wonderful holiday!

Losing weight is a very natural way to reduce blood pressure. You would be surprised at the difference losing 20 lbs can make. Not sure what you mean by abnormal: I guess if you lost a lot of blood then your pressure would drop but that’s not a realistic solution!
